Cycle Training
New to cycling in Hull and don’t feel confident going straight out on the roads? Help is at hand. You can get FREE cycle training through Hull City Council’s Rusty Riders course. R-evolution also runs monthly group bike rides to help you build up your confidence.
Rusty Riders
The 2.5-hour course is run by fully qualified instructors and covers:
Planning a journey
Riding assertively wherever cycling is permitted
Maintaining a suitable riding position on the road
Cooperating with and respecting other road users
Passing queuing traffic and using junctions controlled by traffic lights
Using cycle infrastructure and multi-lane roads
Riding on roads with speeds above 30 mph

R-evolution Social Ride
The bike charity runs free guided group bike rides on the 2nd Thursday of every month from its hub in Trinity Market in Hull. Up to 8 places available, although larger groups can be accommodated. Rides last approx. 2.5 hours.
